030721 I like this bark photo because I can see so many different shapes and images within this one photograph: a woman whistling, eggs frying in a skillet, a key, seashells, a skull. Each time I look, I find something new and in that way this photo mirrors my experience of photography as a whole.
030621 I'm learning that a good time to look at bark is during or right after a rainstorm. The water accentuates the colors. These orange and blue hues stood out in the mist and make this skeleton face dramatic and mystical.
